Angie and Amy have done a great job taking care of my 11 year old Golden Retriever, Liz.  They are always on time, dependable and give me a full report of Liz's activities in my absence.  Being 11 years old, she requires special care with activity and medications but Angie and Amy are always attentive to her needs.  My dog is like my child, and I have friends I wouldn't trust to take care of her!  I highly recommend "About A Dog."

For starters, we love the name "About a Dog."   Much of our daily lives are about a dog named Tucker - our 85 pound mixed breed bundle of joy.  We consider him to be not just our dog, but part of our family.  He goes everywhere with us, except in those unfortunate circumstances where no dogs are allowed.  We have argued that he is not really a dog, but have been met mostly with strange looks or chuckles!  Enter Amy and Angie, who provide a wonderful service that allows us to get away and not  worry about Tucker.  Amy and/or Angie visit with Tucker twice a week for regular lunch visits, and also come by when we are called away for evening or weekend events.  When we leave him in their care, we are confident that he will be treated with the same love and kindness that he expects from us.  Amy and Angie are punctual, reliable, honest, and most importantly, animal lovers.  We particularly like the "daily log" that they fill out each visit to let us know what they did during their visit (Tucker has been getting lots of great exercise with all the jogging he has been doing!)  Without the wonderful services of About A Dog, we might be relegated to vacations in the dog park!

We know Angie and Amy as friends, and trust them 100% as pet sitters.  We recommend About A Dog whole-heartedly, and would be happy to talk to potential clients that may have additional questions.  Tucker is also available for comment upon request.

Amy and Angie truly love and care for Guapo and Wick,  and it's evident from the excited greetings when the dogs see them that they are loved right back! Our two dogs and one cat are the most important "people" in our lives!  Going on Vacation is always fun, but unfortunately our pets usually aren't allowed.  On one such cruise vacation, we hired About a Dog to "hold down the fort" while we were away for over a week.  Amy stayed with Daisy, Raley and Cody during the time that we were gone, and it was such a relief to know that we could enjoy our time off without having to worry about our pets.  Unfortunately, during our absence, Daisy came down with an illness associated with an incident that had occurred before we left.  Amy recognized the immediate need for medical attention, and took all the right steps in getting Daisy to the vet, along with making sure to follow through with her necessary aftercare.  Our only way of staying in touch on the cruise ship was through email,  and Amy took extra effort to email us every day with updates.  There wasn't a moment we doubted that Daisy was in good hands during her recovery.  When we arrived home, Daisy was feeling much better, and all three of our pets were attached to their new friend!  Since that trip, Amy and Angie have been our first choice for pet sitters.  Our pets love them both, and in fact, we're convinced that they now look forward to us leaving town!  Whether our pets need a quick afternoon walk, or a week-long sitter, we always call About a Dog.

I've used About a Dog's pet sitting service a number a times now, and I couldn't be more pleased with Amy and Angie and the level of service that they provide. My pets absolutely love them and I always come home to a happy household. There is one time in particular that I needed Amy and Angie's assistance that really stands out for me. I had a very ill cat, Max, who required medication and hated to leave him.  Amy and Angie took such wonderful care of Max while I was gone and he never missed a dose of the meds. I am thrilled to have such a reliable and responsible pet sitter in About a Dog.  They are the best and I highly recommend them!
